Future Development
History of Dolomynum 2007.01 - Shows ATC, pilot and ATC popups are working, and the software is renamed Dolomynum. An experimental flight strip viewer and console is included, but later removed. Soon the project is put on the back burner, because IVAO does not give permission for Dolomynum to access network data. 2007.04 - Permission is granted for online use, work is resumed, and the first public beta is available. 2007.07 - Added lists of clients, viewing airport traffic info in lists, and the console (Companion) feature. Data is updated regularly. Dolomynum has now all functions that I intended to include in it, and a Release Candidate version is compiled at the end of the month. Word starts to spread through FS sites and forums, and people describe it as a strong competitor of Servinfo and IvAe. 2007.08 - New logo and icon, several small fixes and updates. Colors are not hardcoded any more, but editable by users. Additional tools are released for working with Dolomynum data: the Sector Converter, Sector Viewer, a wysiwyg colour editor, and a settings editor. Dolomynum appears on the frontpage of simflight.com. 2007.10 - All known bugs are
finally fixed; version 1.0.0 is compiled on 17th October and released to
the public on 20th October. It also got a domain name - dlmn.net. 2007.11 - Dolomynum was downloaded 2500 times in one month. Version 1.0.2 released. 2007.12 - A platform-independent re-implementation wa released - QuteScoop by Martin Domig. 2008.01 - Version 1.1.0 released. 2008.05 -
Version 1.2.0 released, including the SkyWard function. Dolomynum was
downloaded 12000 times in 6 months. News items about the software are
released on Avsim, Flightsim.com, Simflight, FSNordic, Flightsimworld
and other prestigious sim sites. 2008.06 - Version 1.2.3 released.
